This is a translation provided for your convenience. The contract is concluded in German, and only the German version of these terms is legally binding. Where the two versions differ, the German wording prevails.
1. Scope and provider
These terms of service govern the use of the Foreseq.com service (“Foreseq” or “the service”) operated by Q-Rad GmbH, Koßfelderstr. 4, 18055 Rostock, Germany (“we”, “us”). Further details about the provider are listed in the imprint (German).
The service is offered to businesses within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB) and to consumers within the meaning of section 13 BGB. For consumers, statutory consumer protection rights apply in addition, in particular the right of withdrawal (clause 9).
2. Description of the service
On request, Foreseq compiles short, source-backed dossiers about individual people in preparation for professional meetings. It draws exclusively on publicly available sources; the results are summarised with the help of AI services and accompanied by source references. Research and dossier data are not stored permanently (details in the privacy policy).
Despite source binding and the marking of uncertain attributions, AI-assisted research results may be incomplete, outdated or, in individual cases, incorrect. Foreseq marks uncertain statements as such, but gives no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the dossiers. The results are a research aid and do not replace your own assessment.
The service is offered in two tiers:
- Free: a limited monthly research quota (currently 10 searches per month), with no payment obligation.
- Business (subscription): an extended quota of 1,000 searches per month (fair use, clause 6) and the features designated as Business features at the time.
3. Conclusion of contract
The contract for the free tier is concluded upon registration or first sign-in. The Business subscription is concluded when you complete the paid order process (Stripe Checkout) and we confirm the order by activating the subscription.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are final prices and include value added tax where it applies. The Business subscription costs €39 per month when paid monthly, or €348 per year when paid annually (equivalent to €29 per month); the annual amount is charged once a year in advance.
Payments are processed by our payment service provider Stripe. The subscription (payment method, invoices, cancellation) is managed through the Stripe customer portal, which you can reach from within the application.
5. Term, renewal, cancellation
Depending on the variant chosen, the Business subscription runs for one month or one year and renews automatically for the same term unless it is cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period – using the cancellation button at app.foreseq.com/kuendigen (German) (reachable without signing in), directly in the Stripe customer portal (“Manage subscription” in the application), or by email to igor.toker@q-rad.de.
Fees already paid for the current billing period are not refunded on a pro-rata basis; after cancellation, access to the Business features remains available until the end of the paid period. The statutory right of withdrawal for consumers (clause 9) and the right to terminate for cause remain unaffected. The free tier can be ended at any time.
6. Fair use and prohibited use
The Business quota of 1,000 searches per month is designed for personal, manual use by one natural person. The following are not permitted in particular:
- automated or scripted bulk queries (for example scraping, bots, or queries via the programming interface without our consent),
- reselling, subletting or otherwise passing on dossiers or quotas to third parties for payment,
- use of one account by several people (account sharing),
- any use that violates applicable law, in particular data protection law or the personality rights of the people researched.
In the event of violations, we may throttle usage, block individual features, or terminate the account for cause after an unsuccessful warning – and, in the case of serious violations, without a prior warning.
7. Availability
Foreseq is a young service under active development. We aim for high availability but do not owe any particular availability rate. The service relies on external providers (among others search services, AI services, calendar connections) whose outages or changes may temporarily limit its function. Maintenance, updates and further development may cause brief interruptions.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage arising from injury to life, body or health. In cases of ordinary negligence we are liable only for the breach of material contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
We are not responsible for business decisions taken on the basis of dossiers; the dossiers are a research aid (clause 2).
9. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal set out below. For the Business subscription, you expressly request during the order process that we begin performing the service immediately – before the withdrawal period expires. If you then withdraw, you owe compensation for the value of the service provided up to that point. Because the subscription is a continuously performed service, your right of withdrawal remains in place throughout the fourteen-day period; it does not lapse merely because you already use the service during that time.
Withdrawal notice
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Q-Rad GmbH, Koßfelderstr. 4, 18055 Rostock, Germany, email: igor.toker@q-rad.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you informed us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal in respect of this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Expiry of the right of withdrawal. In the case of a contract for the provision of services, the right of withdrawal expires if we have provided the service in full and only began performing it after you gave your express consent and at the same time confirmed your awareness that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed the contract.

10. Changes to prices and to these terms
We may change the prices and these terms with effect for the future, for example if the costs of the services we use change or if the scope of features develops further. We will announce changes by email at least six weeks before they take effect. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel the subscription with effect from the end of the current billing period before the change takes effect; price changes apply from the next billing period at the earliest. If you do not object and continue to use the service, the change is deemed accepted; we will point this out separately in the announcement.
11. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which they have their habitual residence. If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Rostock.
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (section 36 of the German Act on Consumer Dispute Resolution, VSBG). Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
